She's Here! Miss Ansley Rai Bartels

Long story short....went into early labor on Sunday, the 4th, went to Imperial to the hospital, was admitted to get shots to stop the contractions. Was there until Wednesday, the 7th when Dr. Richman decided it would be best to go see Dr. Bianco in North Platte. Was then admitted to the hospital in North Platte to allow labor to proceed. Around 8:30 that night, it was decided to go ahead and deliver her (C section). One hour later with Grandma Jo by my side we welcomed Ansley into the world. Grandpa and Kacie barely got there in time, Jay didn't get there in time and Aunt Courtney and Jake were there shortly after! Whew! What a night. She spent the next two days in the NICU on an IV due to low blood sugar counts, but did amazingly well! She is truly a miracle weighing in at 6 lbs and 13 oz which is great since she was 4 1/2 weeks early. We were able to come home yesterday and we have all fallen in love with her - especially her sister and her daddy!
